Step: 3  it will direct you to next page, where you have to enter the password to create your new LIC Policy account and make sure that your password consists at least 8 characters long at least with 1 numerical.

Step: 4  After creating your password, your new account will be ready you can also receive an email containing the Login ID and Password details for this account.

Step: 5  Now, Login to your LIC website using your account details, for that go to the

Step: 6 go to the LIC website once again, click on the ‘’Online Service” to the right side of the homepage

Step: 7 here it will direct you to a new page, click on ‘Register” option

Step: 8 now, here you need to enter Login ID and Password of the new LIC account, after entering the details click on “GO”button

What is Surrender Value?

It is the value payable to the policyholder when they are planned to dismiss the policy before the maturity of the policy.

This amount is payable only if all the premiums are paid for minimum if three years.

If you have paid your premium more than 4 years and you wanted to get surrender with the policy then you will be paid 80% of Maturity Sum Assured as surrender value.

If the policy holder surrender the policy before the date of commencement (i.e., before 3 years) then there will be no Maturity sum Assured will be paid.

Maturity Sum Assured:

Means the sum assured conforming to the period for which premiums have been paid under the policy.

LIC India can provide a loan for LIC policyholders on their policy with the following terms and conditions.

Here are the few requirements to grant the loan has mentioned below:

Policy will be allocated completely in favor of the corporation.Application for loanReceipt of the loan amount.

The maximum amount of the loan will be accessible under the policy is 90% of the surrender value of the policy which includes cash value of the bonus.

9% will be charged on loans at a rate of interest which should be paid half – yearly.

The minimum period for allowing the loan is 6 months from the date of its payment.

For enhanced participation of electors in the electoral process and reducing the electoral malpractices, it is essential to improve the quality of electoral registration process and of the electoral rolls. Booth Level Officer (BLO) is a local Government/Semi-Government official, familiar with the local electors and generally a voter in the same polling area who assists in updating the roll using his local knowledge. In fact, BLO is a representative of Election Commission of India (ECI) at the grass-root level who plays a pivotal role in the process of roll revision and collecting actual field information with regard to the roll corresponding to the polling area assigned to him.

Under Section 13B (2) of Representation of People Act, 1950, BLOs are appointed from amongst the officers of the Govt. /Semi Govt. /Local Bodies. Generally, one BLO is responsible for one part of the electoral roll. From August, 2006 the Commission has decided to introduce the concept of appointing BLOs who would be accountable for ensuring the fidelity of electoral roll.+

The ECI introduced this new system of appointing BLOs creating a clear line of accountability for preparation of an error-free electoral roll, making the BLOs its custodian at the polling booth level. Previously, voter-identification slips used to be distributed by the contesting candidates of various political parties and that gave scope for complaints. The preparation of accurate electoral rolls and direct distribution of voter identification slip by the BLOs also boosted voter confidence in the credibility of the election process.

BLO assists eligible citizens to become voters and obtain voter card. BLO provides those different forms for addition, deletion and correction of Electoral Roll entries, carries out physical verification, and gives his/her report to Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) .The BLO interacts with local people/ political parties’ representatives and identifies dead/shifted/duplicate voters to be removed from the electoral roll after due process of law. 7th CPC Allowances Resolution- Fin Min Gazette Notification Issued On Dt. 06th July, 2017 MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Expenditure) RESOLUTION New Delhi, the 6th July, 2017 No. 11-1/2016-IC.—The Seventh Central Pay Commission (the Commission) was set up by the Government of India vide Resolution No. 1/1/2013-E.III (A), dated the 28th February, 2014. The period for submission of report by the Commission was extended upto 31st December, 2015 vide Resolution No. 1/1/2013-E.III (A), dated the 8th September, 2015. The Commission, on 19th November, 2015, submitted its Report on the matters covered in its Terms of Reference as specified in the aforesaid Resolution dated the 28th February, 2014. 2. The Government, vide Para 7 of the Resolution No. 1-2/2016- IC, dated 25th July, 2016, decided to refer the allowances (except Dearness Allowance) to the Committee on Allowances (the Committee). It was also decided that till a final decision on allowances is taken based on the recommendations of the Committee, all allowances will continue to be paid at existing rates in existing pay structure, as if the pay had not been revised with effect from 1st day of January, 2016. 3. The said Committee submitted its Report on 27th April, 2017. The Government, after consideration, has decided to accept the recommendations of the Commission on allowances with 34 modifications as specified in Appendix I. The Statement showing the recommendations of the Commission on allowances and the Government’s decision thereon is annexed at Appendix II. 4. Some of the allowances paid to the Indian Navy which are also paid to the Indian Coast Guard at present have not been mentioned in the Report of the Commission. The Government has decided that these allowances which are admissible to the Indian Navy shall also be paid to the Indian Coast Guard at par with the Indian Navy. 5. The rates in respect of 12 running allowances relating to the Ministry of Railways shall be notified by the Ministry of Railways with the concurrence of the Ministry of Finance. 6. The revised rates of allowances shall be admissible with effect from the 1st July, 2017. ORDER Ordered that this Resolution be published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary. Ordered that a copy of this Resolution be communicated to the Ministries and/Departments of the Government of India, State Governments, Administrations of Union territories and all other concerned.
